Admission Procedure
Uttarakhand offers admission to all eligible applicants into the engineering institutes of the state every year. The admissions are done through counseling and seat allotment procedure of all the GATE qualified applicants. The applicants who have not qualified GATE will have to appear for the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) Advanced. First, preference will be given to candidates who have qualified the GATE exam and non-GATE qualified will be admitted into the participating engineering institutes under Uttarakhand M.Tech Admission only if seats were left vacant

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is a four-year undergraduate program in which students study the methods and process of preparing drugs and how does the dispensing of medicine and drugs take place. Anyone who aspires to be a pharmacist today, it is mandatory for them to undertake this course so that they have thorough and in-depth knowledge of the science of the medicine. It is a four-year-long course and is mainly divided into 6-8 semesters, depending upon the coursework and practical sessions. B.Pharma imparts useful knowledge about biochemical science and healthcare business. Students during their coursework have to perform various practicals and experiment. Central Workshop at Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee is the biggest workshop among the engineering colleges situated in Uttarakhand, having all-round facilities for student learning and for developing their Projects of varying fields with a well-trained team of around ten staff having proficiency in different fields. The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled, and all classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors and sound systems.
Roorkee College of Engineering has excellent laboratory facilities for carrying out teaching, research and consultancy activities in various disciplines of engineering, medical, dental sciences and mass communication. The College has state of the art labs that allow the students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt in theory.
The College has many Auditoriums and Seminar Rooms equipped with the latest audio visual facilities for guest lectures, seminars, presentations, and other academic activities. Besides, every school has a Conference/Board room for meetings, faculty presentations, and discussions.
The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled, and all classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors and sound systems. The lecture halls can accommodate up to 200 students while the tutorial classes are designed for strength of 30-40 students.
Recognizing the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as research, the College is committed to providing computing facilities of the highest standards. A high-speed optical fibre network of 1Gbps through two ISPs with wireless redundancy allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus including student hostels with more than 200 access points.

The institute provides ample transport service to all the adjacent localities. The institute is committed to provide its students all the comfort and convenience to help them to achieve their targets. The transport service is just a small effort in this direction. Although public transport exists, yet Institute proposes to possess as its own fleet of buses to ferry its students and faculty from campus to selected site and back to campus. The transport facility is available for the faculties as well as to students on very nominal charges.
The students are spared from the difficulty of commuting to the college by public transport. The transport facility is also a significant contributor of inculcating an element of punctuality among the students.
